The design of the hoodie is inspired by the Hercules sculpture from New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. The first and most famous of the 12 labors of Hercules is to overcome the Nemean lion. This task seemed impossible to accomplish, because the lion's skin was invulnerable to arrows and swords. However, using his strength and ingenuity, he decided to strangle him. This lion skin became his integral, ideal armor.
